Exam Practice Calculator
Practice with the kind of calculator your test allows: a four-function or a non-graphing scientific calculator, with a countdown timer and an exam mode that turns off the extras.
Practicing for a test
This is a practice tool, not an approved exam calculator. No website is allowed in a testing room. Every test sets its own calculator rules, and many list specific approved models. Always check your exam's official calculator policy, and practice with the physical model you'll bring.
Which mode should I practice with?
Four-function: +, −, ×, ÷, square root, percent, and memory. Some nursing and entrance exams provide only a basic calculator like this, so you need to be quick at doing the rest by hand.
Scientific (non-graphing): adds trig, logs, powers, π, factorials, and scientific notation, but no graphing, equation solving, or programs. Many professional licensing exams and science or engineering courses allow only this kind.
What does exam mode change?
It hides the live answer preview (you only see results after pressing =), turns off typing from your keyboard so you use the keys like a real calculator, and blocks the history. Combine it with the timer and full screen for realistic timed practice.
Tips for test day
Practice the order of operations on your calculator type; four-function calculators often work left-to-right without it. Estimate before you calculate so you can spot a slipped keystroke. Clear the memory before you start.
